Tonight Aunt Kristin, Uncle Mike, Michael and Sam surprised all of us and brought my Christmas presents to the house. I was so happy when I tore off the paper and saw my very own Barbie motorized quad. I hopped right on after Uncle Mike put in the battery- and off I went!! It took me about 2 seconds to realize how to get on, get off, make it move and turn it around. Mommy is worried I am going to fall for a man on a motorcycle when I am older. But from what I've heard- Mommy and Daddy like them too!

....." i wanna put on- my, my, my, my, my boogie shoes"....

This afternoon Mommy took me to get new sneakers. We couldn't believe our ears when the lady at the store told us my shoe size was now a 7 double wide. Last time- it was 5 1/2. Mommy let me choose between 3 different pairs. I told her with a very clear "no" which ones I did not want. I picked my favorite pair by responding "oooooh yes Mommy". Since my poor piggies were crammed into the smaller sneakers- Mommy let me wear my sneakers out of the store. I waved goodbye to everyone, said thank you and blew a few people some kisses. Since I was so good, we went to another store and I also got an Elmo purse. I was very good in that store too and the girl said I was adorable. Who am I to argue!

...."one fish, two fish, red fish.....green fish".............

Mommy always buys me my favorite snack- goldfish crackers. This weekend, to my surprise she got me the ones that are alll different colors. I insisted on carrying the bag myself and walking around the house with them. At one point I decided to shake the whoooole bag around the basement and the fish were flyin'!! I also noticed that even when you eat them off of the floor- they taste just as good. After I helped her "clean" all of them up, Mommy was laughing and once again- documented it.

I love the nights when Daddy is home and can relax, eat dinner with us and give me my bath. I especially love to give him a hard time and not let him put any of my clothes on. Tonight when he asked me if I thought he had "all the time in the world" to wait for me..... I simply replied "yes". Well I think Mommy must have heard me and started to laugh in the other room. With a face like this, I ask you............am I wrong?

Christmas December 2007

This year Christmas was extra special because now that I am older- I can open all of my presents and really enjoy myself. We went to Grandmas for Christmas Eve dinner and I was such a good girl. I was running around the house, playing with Mommy, Aunt Chrissy and Uncle Louis. Daddy had to work alll night and we all really missed him but he was there in our hearts. We all ate a really big dinner together and I had 2 bowls of pasta. Grandma couldn't believe her eyes and we were all laughing about it! The next morning, we all got up early and Mommy made a biiig Christmas breakfast for me and Daddy then we opened all of our presents. Boy did I hit the jackpot!! Almost every box under the tree was for ME from Santa! I got really nice clothes, toys, a fake blow-dryer and I was trying to "fix" Daddy's hair until he pointed out that he doesn't have any! Mommy and Daddy got me a big wheel bike and I can't wait to ride it up and down the driveway. Grandma Mimi, Pop, Aunt Mindy, Uncle Barry and Ashton sent me tons and tons of great presents. We went to Grandmas again for dinner and by the time 6:30 rolled around I was done with Christmas. Mommy and Daddy loaded everything into the car and I was asleep before we got around the corner. As much fun as I had and as many things as we all got, I was happy just to be with Mommy and Daddy and the rest of my family. We missed those who weren't with us and thought about them all day. The best presents are the ones you can not buy, like hugs, kisses and spending time. I'm glad I get these everyday- even when it's not Christmas!!

...."Hold my hand".....

I always have so much fun playing with Michael and Samantha. I was very glad Michael was there on Sunday to help me through my "Santa anxiety". He held my hand the whole time we were dancing and stood with me at the entrance of the room so I didn't have to walk in alone. I have a feeling we are going to be lifelong friends- just the way I would want it to be.

This morning I went to the Greenlawn Firehouse for breakfast with Santa. The Fire Dept does it every year and this is the first time we've gone. I had so much fun dancing with Michael and Sam. We all ate breakfast together, made crafts, danced and then Santa arrived. We all had to wait to hear our names called by one of the "elves" and then go up to get our present and take a picture with Santa. When I heard my name called I instantly started crying. As Mommy got closer and closer to Santa I knew I had to let her know that I was not having it! I buried my face in Mommy's shoulder and everyone said "aaaawww" then they started to call my name to get me to laugh. That never happened. The picture is definitely one for the record books and Mommy has it in a frame - the gift they give to the wives and mothers. I loved my toy and hopefully next year I will be a little more receptive to the man in red.

...."Express Yourself"......

We recorded the movie The Polar Express for Carly last week and she has become obsessed with watching it while she is eating her dinner. Tonight she was eating one of her favorites......prunes and apples and we started to watch the movie. She became so fixated on it we could NOT get her attention until the commercial. Once she starts to get bored she yells out "Mommy all done!!" and stands up in her chair. When we try to give her "the voice" and tell her to sit down- she laughs in our faces! I know some of these are blurry but she is so cute we just want to squeeze her!!

Lately in the mornings before school- I like to run up and down the hall screaming. I find this to be especially fun when Mommy and Daddy are chasing me trying to get my coat on. This morning they just couldn't catch me. Mommy decided to snap a few pictures instead and then we headed off. Daddy was laughing, and Billy was chasing his tail trying to get some attention too. I believe in exercising in the morning- it's good for the soul!!

Tonight Mommy decorated the Christmas tree after I went to sleep. When I woke up in the morning I said "woooooow". When we all went to pick out the tree I was afraid- but I'm starting to like it now. I was helping Mommy "rearrange" some of the ornaments this morning and I can't wait until we fill the room with presents and can celebrate the holiday as a family. Mommy and Daddy had all of our Aunts and Uncles over on Sunday to help decorate- but we ended up playing, eating and watching football. Oh well- I think Mommy did a great job and I can't wait to help her decorate next year.

Matt was giving Carly one of her "treatments" the other morning for her cough. Her hair looked so pretty I had to snap a few pictures of her. Her hair is getting so long and is such a beautiful color. It's light blonde with a ton of red highlights. The tips are all curls and the front sweeps over her big blue eyes. Brigitte Bardot's got nothing on our babygirl!!

First snow December 2007

Today we had the first snowstorm this season. This morning I went around with Mommy and took some pictures of the snow fall. It was so peaceful and pretty out we just couldn't resist.

..."Party in the crib!"..........

Today it snowed for the first time this year. Mommy and I went over to Aunt Kristin's with Aunt Amy to see Michael and Sam. When we got there Sam was asleep.... but not for long. When she woke up, Michael and I decided to jump into her crib with her. We all sang 'Three Little Monkeys" and they were taking pictures and filming us. We were all laughing and jumping up and down.

Then I went to the Mall with Mommy, Aunt Amy and Michael and I saw Santa for the first time. I waved to him, blew him a kiss and tried to share one of my goldfish crackers. But when Mommy asked me to go see Santa- I screamed Nooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!! We had lunch and I went on two rides with Michael.

When I got home, I ate dinner, Daddy gave me a bath and I passed out!
