Watercolors

Aunt Stacey and Uncle Ken got me a whole bunch of cool crayons for the tub. Ever since Mommy opened them for me- I am obsessed. I love to color on the walls the entire time I am in the tub. Today after lunch Mommy had to give me a bath because I was trying to "drink" my yogurt. I was acting so crazy that Mommy- once again- decided to capture my mood. We were laughing the entire time!

Ciao...for now

Last night Mommy and I went to eat pizza over at Aunt Kristin and Uncle Mike's because they are going on vacation to St. Marteen. Aunt Mimi was there too and she is also going with them. We had such a good time eating, playing, dancing and running around like maniacs. Michael always makes me laugh and feel very safe and welcome. I will miss them all, but we wish them well and hope they have a great time. They deserve it!!

Two....Take One

On my actual Birthday (March 8th), we went to Grandma's house to eat dinner. She made me all of my favorites, chicken, salad ( I loooove tomatoes), apple sauce, and for dessert she made my all time fave- cheesecake. They sang Happy Birthday to me three times because after each time they were done, I kept saying again!! I had a great time. Mommy took a ton of pictures- here are just a few.

Two.... take Two

March 15, 2008

Well today we had a big birthday party to celebrate my 2nd Birthday. I had all of my family, friends and Aunts and Uncles over. We played outside, listened to music, had pizza, played with bubbles, sang and danced and had cupcakes that Mommy made for me. My colors were hot pink, lime green and white. The whole house was decorated and we all had a great time. I made everyone sing Happy Birthday to me twice and Michael brought over his birthday hat and let me wear it. Pop let us use him as a "pretend horse" and was laying on the floor while we all jumped all over him. I had so much fun and after everyone left I fell asleep in my party clothes on Daddy's shoulder. The next morning we opened alll of my presents and I got some great stuff. I want to thank everyone who came to the party for helping me celebrate and for all of my great presents. I really appreciate you making me feel so special on my special day! I had an absolute BLAST!!!!

Tonight I played with Carly after her bath. We did our usual routine of going downstairs to read books and color. She pulled out both of her barnyard puzzles and wanted me to watch her. I sat in amazement as she pulled each piece from the bucket, said the animals name, did their "sound" and placed the piece in the right spot. She made sure I watched her the entire time. If she got one wrong- she didn't get frustrated. She would sit back, look at both puzzles and figure it out. I literally almost started to cry. It is incredible to me as parent to see just how quickly things develop in a child and how no matter what- they just don't give up.

She amazes us every day. This is just one moment worth sharing.
