Carly is becoming quite the little lady. Every morning she comes into our bedroom and greets us with a "helloooooooooooooo", but it sounds more like a herrrroooowww. She loves to sit at the table with Mommy and get ready for school. She lets me brush her hair, put cream on her cheeks and spray perfume on her, which she calls "fancy Mommy". After that, she brushes her teeth and says goodbye to Daddy. We try to sing at least one song in the car on the way to school but sometimes she just wants to point to the buses and trucks and say "woo-woo and "beep- beep". We went to the doctor for her 7 month follow-up for the tubes in her ears and everything is great. Ears are clear as a bell, no infections and no hearing problems. She eats like there is no tomorrow and has no problems trying new things. Daddy bought her an easel to color and draw, a new floor mat with letters and numbers, a new Elmo doll and her own suede chair. Our basement looks like a daycare center. She colors everything around her with the markers and then says "oh no Mommy", but how can we resist that little face? She is getting so big, so fast we just can't keep up. Loving every new adventure and change- but missing her as a little baby. She will always be our babygirl though.
Love to all,
Mommy & Daddy xoxo
