For my Daddy

A hug, a kiss, a big shoulder to cry and sleep on. Teaching me all of the little things. How to water the plants, feed the dog, throw a ball and play. Pushing me on my swing, making me breakfast, teaching me how to swim. Showing compassion, tolerance and unconditional love. For all you have taught me already and all I look forward to learning from you.....I love you Daddy to the moon! HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!

An old soul

Carly was so cute this morning. It's amazing to me how she notices EVERYTHING and is so aware of her surroundings. When she was sitting beside me today she managed to wave and say hello to everyone who passed. She knew when she was finished with her ice, she had to throw it in the garbage. She never yells, hits, bites or acts out. She will greet you with a hug and wrap her arms around your legs and say I LOVE YOU! She can be cautious but also very trusting at the same time. She reminds me of an old soul in a little body. She just seems wise beyond her 2 years. She is so considerate and has been this way since day one. She loves all kinds of animals from worms in the dirt to big ole Billy the dog. She is truly sweet to her core and we love it.

Sisters with flowers

Mommy was really sick this whole week at one point Daddy wanted to take her to the ER- whatever that means. She went to the doctor at least 5 times and is on all kinds of medications now. She slept for three days straight and every time I went into the room to see her I would scream "Mommy wake up!" She would bring me on the bed with her and we would watch tv. Aunt Kristin brought over some flowers from her garden for Mommy. They were so pretty and made the room smell so nice. I think they may have worked because Mommy seems better. Mommy always says Aunt Kristin is like a sister to her. They may not see each other all of the time, but in the end the loves is there and grows, just like the flowers.

Fake Cake Bake

Mommy and I pretended to bake a cake for Daddy this morning. I felt it was necessary to take out every single cooking utensil we had. I mean you need the best for the best. I made sure I tasted everything before it was "done", then went into full blown giggle fit. Hope Daddy likes it!

if ya can't stand the heat.....eat ice

It was so blazing hot this morning when we woke up I told Mommy I wanted an ice. For the first time ever, I had an ice for breakfast! We both sat outside and ate an ice and boooy was it hot out! I ate it so fast that I asked Mommy for another one and then another one. By the time Grandma got there- I was cool as a cucumber!

Five Little Cuties

Here are just a few shots of the pictures Mommy took this morning in the park. She was hired to take pictures as a surprise for someone's Birthday. She said all of these kids were so good, so cute and willing to try just about anything to capture a great picture. She hopes they are happy with her results. She loves them!
