Digging in the Dirt

This afternoon we all went to buy some more flowers and then came home to plant them. Mommy and I planted wild flowers in a wood box she found on the street, while Daddy planted flowers in front of the house. I decided that dirt does not taste good after I licked it off of my fingers several times. Mommy gave me my chalk to distract me- but I ate that too. I worked really hard and we all got really dirty. We were outside for about two hours until dinner time. I barely even had the energy to eat, Mommy gave me my bath and I fell asleep on Daddy's chest.

Goodnight to all-

Boots & Blankets

This morning when I woke up, the first thing I wanted to do was put my boots on. I was running around the kitchen and I wanted Mommy to chase me. She just woke up so she said she needed her coffee first. When I realized that she was not going to run around the house with me- I wanted to go downstairs and play hide and seek but all I kept doing was put the blanket over my head- hoping Mommy could not "find" me. Well she did- and of course.... she had her camera!!

The Scholar

Mommy has a pair of glasses she wears all of the time. I decided this morning they were now MY glasses and wanted to wear them to school. Daddy started to crack up and told Mommy to get her camera. When I put them on, they almost fell off my face. I guess they are too big for me now. But someday- I will wear them!!

Moments before War

Mommy and I were driving home today. We had the windows open, the music on and a nice warm breeze hitting our faces. When we stopped at the light we noticed a boy dressed in a full military uniform. He was leaning on the fence watching a bunch of people playing basketball. We were both wondering what is he thinking about? Is he just getting back? or leaving today? It was interesting to see him looking so peaceful watching something we drive by everyday. It made us think, be thankful for the little things. Don't take anything for granted and we felt very blessed as we drove away. Daddy was planting more tulips when we got home. We all played on the lawn until the sun went down. I ate my dinner, took my bath and Daddy gave me my bottle before bed. It's all these little things we do together as a family every night that make a big difference.

Boston Cabs Take 10

Mommy & Daddy took cabs all over Boston because they said they walked so much their legs were starting to hurt. Here is a picture of Mommy in the cab the night of the game. Mommy took one of Daddy but he made her erase it because he said his face looked fat!!

Daddy's Bloomers

When Mommy and Daddy got back from their trip to Boston, all of the flowers Daddy had planted are now full grown. The front yard looks so pretty. Even though they were gone for such a short time, they both said the house looks different! Go Daddy!!

Fenway Park Boston 5 - Texas 3

Mommy and Daddy went on a quick 4 day vacation together to Boston. Mommy has never been so she surprised Daddy with a trip because he has been working himself to the bone. They had sooo much fun and on Saturday night they went to Fenway Park to see a Red Sox game. They said they met people from all over the place and it was very intimate and like watching a baseball game with thousands of your closest friends. When they got back today, they seemed relaxed and well rested. I had a great weekend at Grandmas. Hopefully next year they will be able to go to Boston again!

A bad case of the giggles

Today when Mommy & I got home I was really hungry. Mommy made me dinner and we sat down together to eat and watch some tv. All of a sudden I got a wicked case of the giggles and I could not stop laughing, even while I was eating. Then Mommy started laughing which made it even worse. It ended as quickly as it started and then I was cured! Daddy always says that Mommy gets the giggles every night before bed for no reason at all. I guess that's where I get it from!!
