The story of the Band-Aids
Daddy was teaching me how to swim in Grandma's pool today. He told Mommy that when he was about 4 years old he taught himself how to swim. He told her he used to hold on to the edge and pull himself from left to right over and over and over. He did it so many times, his fingers would bleed and he would have band-aids on every single finger. One day he said he let go and the rest is history. Mommy had his diving jacket framed and he has it hanging in his office. It has all kinds of patches on it that he won when he was on the dive team. He was about 4 years old living in California. Today I did the same thing, I held on to the side and then let go. I guess history really does repeat itself. Daddy almost fainted! Daddy told Mommy to post the story so that Mimi and Pops could read it. Enjoy!
Love to all,
Carly Victoria xoxo
